Tubing on Lake Mendota
Little Norway and Cave of the Mounds
We went to visit a friend of mine from high school, Teri (Schultz) Hendrickson, who works at a tourist / historical attraction known as Little Norway. There are also a few photos from outside the Cave of the Mounds, just down the road.

We took a break from camping to take in some local sights, including the “Cave of the Mounds” near Blue Mounds, WI.

Michele and I spent a few days camping with Eric and Deb near Mount Horeb. The rest of the tribe hung out for a night or two as well.

Door County and Elver Park
We spent the day in Door County going through gift shops, then headed back to Elver Park in Madison to hook up with the Tribe for more fireworks.
July 4th Weekend in Door County
We headed to Door County for a weekend get away. We didn’t have any hotel reservations but just happened to find a cabin on the beach facing Green Bay. We hiked through a few state parks, picked some cherries, bought some fireworks, and had our first fish boil.
